LFC legend Steven Gerrard to have the word “ISTANBUL” carved into forehead

In the lead up to his Anfield farewell press conference, it has been confirmed to The Banter Narrative that Liverpool Football Club legend Steven Gerrard will have the word “ISTANBUL” carved into the flesh on his forehead prior to leaving Merseyside for Hollywood.

The footballer stated that he had been toying with the idea of some sort of permanent keepsake to remember his time at the club. “Sometimes it’s nice to remind yourself and every single person you meet for the rest of your life about the success you’ve enjoyed.” When asked how he feels about the prospect of it bleeding profusely, the Premier League legend said morbidly, “It will prove I bleed red.”

Steven Gerrard’s manager Brendan Rodgers was effusive in his praise of the three major honour winning captain. “Steven will be remembered first and foremost as a footballer. Not a farmer, not a sales executive and certainly not some kind of merchant. It’s the least he deserves.”

We here at TBN would like to send our regards to Steven Gerrard.
