An underage football team in county Donegal, Ireland are facing major fines and a possible suspension after Pedobear was marked out on their pitch prior to the Supervalu Donegal Championship under 10 semi final on Friday evening.

The match, which was won 2-1 by local side Buncrana Hearts against perennial underachievers Redcastle United, was stopped for upwards of ten minutes after kick off after one of the player’s mothers – Bridie Gilhooly – noticed the strange marking.

After consulting with an internet savvy teen in attendance and realising the significance of the marking, Mrs. Gilhooly forced the referee to stop the game. After insisting there was nothing he could do, the angry mother went back to silently fuming on the sideline.

After the game, Mrs. Gilhooly appeared confident that she knew the source of the marking. “There have always been a few weirdos – unmarried fellas – that I suspected to be paedophiles around town. This just confirms that suspicion.”

Mrs. Gilhooly is said to have been mortified to find out after the game that her teenage son Michael and his friends were responsible for the marking.
