Saying it always believed it could happen, Luis Suarez has today expressed his delight at finally being absolved of racism after scoring yet again in a stunning display for Barcelona.
Speculation has been rife as to when the forward would no longer have to feel guilty about racially abusing Patrice Evra, and the Uruguayan was said to have been ecstatic upon hearings the news this evening in the aftermath of a performance observers described as “phenomenal”.
“People said it was impossible but deep down, I always knew I could achieve it,” said the forward, adding that it’s good to know exactly how much is required before people stop referring to you as a racist.
“This just shows, it doesn’t matter what bad things you’ve done as long as you’re good enough at something that entertains people. It’s a great world we live in.”
