Paul Scholes speaks out against joy, life

Saying that the entire world needs a reality check, Paul Scholes today spoke out against those experiencing joy and life itself.

“People walking around smiling and chatting like life’s good. Get a grip. Polish your shoes, make some dinner and turn the dial down a bit,” said the former Manchester United midfielder and current BT Sport pundit, adding that happiness is merely a fleeting illusion and that sadness and death were the only true constants.

“What have you done? Got a good job, nice house, loving family? So what. It’s all meaningless. Time takes each of us and at the end of the day, no one is gonna remember you.”
