Saying that they have seemed like a different team lately, local man Brynn Crimley today admitted that he’s not sure what has happened to the Golden State Warriors in the month since he began supporting them.
Citing their last two NBA Finals defeats to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the 24-year-old Dublin native admitted that it had been a shock to the system to his beloved Steph Curry struggle in the face of a revitalised LeBron James and Kyrie Irving
“I personally can’t believe it. I’ve been supporting these guys as far back as the end of their series with Oklahomo City Thunder and I’ve never seen them play this badly,” stated the student, adding that he feels Steve Kerr’s men need to get back to their roots if they’re to take their second consecutive championship on Sunday. “They need to get back to basics, because right now it’s a far cry from the early days, that’s for sure.”
At press time, Crimley pledged his loyalty to the team, saying he wouldn’t consider switching to the Cavaliers until the end of Game 7 at the earliest.
