Saying that they are all good lads who are worth giving a chance to, Harry Redknapp today recommended Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch and Niko Kranjcar for the vacant England job.
Speaking to as the Football Association prepares to select the man to lead the national team, Redknapp stated that the three players could a job for the country at its time of need.
“Any time I’ve brought them in, they’ve never once let me down. They’re great lads and they know their football. It’s a no-brainer,” said the former Tottenham Hotspur coach, adding that the international experience of all three men make them ideal candidates.
“At the end of the day you want proven quality and these three fellas have more than most.”
At press time, Redknapp also denied claims that no one had been making when he ruled himself out of the running for the position.
