Saying that he was looking forward to getting into the spirit of the day, Swansea City coach Alan Curtis today planned to treat himself to a Halloween scare with a brief look into the infinite abyss that are his own eyes.
Speaking after returning home from training, the Welshman admitted that while he’s not a big follower of Halloween, it’d be nice to get in on the act.
“It’s nice to have a little fright sometimes,” said the side’s former interim manager as he prepared to look into the deep, cavernous and torment-filled darkness that embody his pupils. “Get the heartbeat going and the hairs on the back of your neck up. It should be fun.”
At press time, Curtis was reportedly setting fire to all the mirrors in his house mere moments after glancing at his cold, purgatorial gaze.
